We sourced and scanned hundreds of feet of 16mm film to create this product. We also worked with some of the best labs in Toronto, Canada for scanning everything at the best resolution possible.
What is a Film Leader?
At the very beginning of a roll of 16mm film, is a length of film leader. This is a section on the roll specifically for the film’s title, it’s technical specs and any other information required for the lab. We’ve taken some vintage film leader and obtained some really awesome looking film specs. A lot of what is written is often displayed too quickly to read, but the effect of either the written or printed lettering is just amazing.
